Very unique fish. These are actually a hybrid cross between koi and comets. They are SUPER active and hardy, and very responsive fish. They don’t get nearly as large as koi, and can be kept in a tank or pond, but tanks should be covered as these athletic fish can jump out. This one came in last summer, is quite large and powerful, and has become super friendly and responsive. These will also greet you with heads jutting way up out of the water when approached in a pond. Photos definitely don’t do these unusual fish justice. This one has the very distinct scissor-like tail and nice dark color.
