This one was imported in early June, with lots of tears in the tail upon arrival.  Fully healed now, but some of the splits will never fully mend.  It’s kinda funny because I’ve heard some people describe this as a “type”, calling it “fringe” tail.  It reminds me of the goldfish I used to see as a kid, which usually had lots of fin flaws, especially larger fish.  Regardless of the splits, this one is still a great fish…very active, with super cute “angry” face.  Please know that black pigment on fish like this is hard to keep long-term.
