Description
This unusual fish was given to me as a gift by my main supplier. He wanted me to see how this scale-type looks. It’s different than most pearlscales, with thick “shingling” of scales rather than the typical rounded pearls. This large fish tends to lean forward, and is not a great swimmer, but it’s not a head-stander, and has been very healthy and trouble-free since imported. Large fish that stands out in a tank.
