• GOLDFISH ACROSS AMERICA TOUR!!!

  Dandy Orandas has customers in every state of the USA. I know some quite well and consider many of you to be friends at this point. I've had an idea for nearly 20 years that it would be great to actually meet many of you in person someday. I've always had fish here though, so it's been nearly impossible to leave, even for a day. The decision to forego imports due to tariffs provides the freedom to finally make my idea happen.

  I plan on doing a tour of the Southern Half of the USA, starting in late February. That will include stops at various locations to talk goldfish, with video interviews of people, their setups, their fish, etc.. I already have several interesting places and people lined up, but am inviting everyone out there to possibly be a part of the tour. There is still a lot of planning ...exact locations, timing, etc., but I hope to piece those details together in the upcoming weeks.

  The pic below is a rough sketch of my tentative route. It is not exact, and there will likely be some deviation, but I don't plan on being in the north half of the USA at this time.

  Anyway, if you would be interested in having me stop by your area, I'd love to see everyone I can during this tour. And, you don't have to be an old customer...I hope to meet lots of new people too! If interested and close to my route, please email me with some basic info....

Nice eyes on this pretty butterfly.  Very friendly fish.

Just a couple left from last Summer’s shipment!  Very unique fish.  These are actually a hybrid cross between koi and comets.  They are super active and hardy, and very responsive fish.  They don’t get nearly as large as koi, and can be kept in a tank or pond, but tanks should be covered as these athletic fish can jump out.   This one came in last summer, is quite large and powerful, and has become super friendly and responsive.  It also has funny shaped mouth/nose that is very cute.   These will also greet you with heads jutting way up out of the water when approached.  Photos definitely don’t do these unusual fish justice.

These have been hard to get in recent years, especially in nice quality.  I was lucky to find a very nice group last Fall.  This one is no exception to the batch…nice overall fish, very hardy and spunky, with excellent motion and balance.

I LOVE Telescope Ranchu!   Super cute, with “alien” eyes.  Just a few left from last Fall’s shipment.  This one is nice, in lovely sakura color.  Extremely friendly, with lots of personality.

ONLY one available!  I was lucky to get a few of these in January, but only one in this color.  These remind me of fish I used to see 40 years ago.  I’ve not seen anything quite like them for a long time.  Very different, and really stands out among other goldfish.

My main supplier in China is always working with new varieties.  He offered me these very unique and impressive fish for my shipment in January.  Most all have petite heads, but all have extremely large fins.  I really like these, and they really like to show off.  Just a few available.  This is my favorite…super showy with huge tail and upright dorsal.
